INGREDIENTS
MAKES 2 CUPS
- 1 1/2 cups dairy or plant based milk
- 1 dash of water
- 1 pinch of saffron threads or ground saffron (powder form)=(0,125g equivalent to 10
- strands)
- 1 Teaspoon of Rose powder and a pinch of rose petals/ rose buds
- Sweetener as desired (honey, date syrup, coconut blossom sugar, etc)
METHOD
- Heat the plant/dairy based milk as desired with a shot of water. If you like, you can also add a dash of coconut milk to make the drink even more creamy (and the yellow even brighter).
- Add the saffron powder (for Saffron latte)
- Add the rose powder (for Rose latte)
- Froth with whisk or frother
- Garnish with a couple of strands of Saffron (for Saffron latte)
- Garnish with some rose petals/rose buds (for Rose latte)
